Tiny Treasures Day Care and Education
Coleshill Road Nuneaton

Welcome to Tiny Treasures Day Care and Education! We have a friendly and professional working atmosphere where all children are treated with care, respect, and individuality. We are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks of the year. We cater for seventy-five children, ranging from 5 months up to their 5th birthday. The children take part in a variety of blended learning activities, and their development is continuously assessed and monitored, with regular feedback encouraged from parents. We also have a Pre-School where children aged three to four years are prepared for a smooth transition into school. Our setting benefits from a large outdoor play area and a spacious internal car park. Spread across two modern floors, the nursery is located in the quiet Warwickshire town of Nuneaton, providing a calm and safe environment for children to learn and grow. The setting also features a fully equipped kitchen, where fresh, healthy, and hot meals are prepared daily, taking into account children’s individual dietary needs and preferences.

The setting has a large car park for parents and visitors.

Preschool

This is a spacious, open-plan room designed to provide children with a variety of learning and play opportunities. It includes a dedicated sink area where children are encouraged to wash their hands independently after messy activities, helping them to develop good hygiene habits. The room also features a creative corner with a builder’s yard, offering children the chance to explore, investigate, and develop problem-solving skills through hands-on learning experiences. A carefully planned daily routine is provided, offering a balance of free play, free-flow opportunities, and focused activities that are tailored to each child’s age and stage of development. Activities are thoughtfully designed to support social and emotional growth, while also enhancing language, concentration, physical skills, creativity, imagination, and curiosity. All routines and learning experiences are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting each child’s individual development at their own pace. Children’s independence, confidence, and self-care skills are encouraged when they are ready, ensuring they are well-prepared for their transition to “Big School.”

Toddler Room

In our Toddler Room, all children are encouraged to develop independence with their eating and drinking when they are ready. We provide a wide range of engaging activities, including creative play, music, singing, construction, storytelling, and physical play, helping to support their overall learning and development. We make use of open-ended and natural resources to inspire creativity, imagination, and curiosity, ensuring that all experiences are age-appropriate and developmentally suitable. All children have access to the garden, where they can enjoy outdoor exploration and fresh air. We follow individual routines that fit around home schedules, helping children feel secure and comfortable throughout the day. Our caring staff are always available for a cuddle, providing the emotional reassurance children need as they grow. To support language development, we engage children in verbal games, rhymes, songs, and storytelling, alongside everyday conversations during routine care activities.

Baby Room

Our Baby Room offers a calm, cosy, and nurturing environment designed to make your little one feel safe, happy, and comfortable. It features a dedicated sensory area and provides a variety of learning opportunities to help your bundle of joy play, discover, and grow. We offer stimulating activities using natural, everyday objects to give babies a real-life experience while exploring a range of different textures and materials. Children are also encouraged to enjoy sensory and messy play activities, allowing them to investigate, explore, and develop their curiosity. Our caring staff promote early language development through verbal games, rhymes, songs, and storytelling, alongside gentle, everyday interaction during routine care activities.

Outdoor Play

Our outdoor play area provides children with access to a mud kitchen, playhouse, planting area, outdoor fish tank, and a sandpit, giving them plenty of opportunities to explore, investigate, and learn through play. Outdoor play offers children the chance to enjoy fresh air and physical exercise while also helping them develop their communication, imagination, and thinking skills. It supports their confidence, resilience, and problem-solving abilities, and most importantly, allows them to have fun while building friendships and positive relationships with both peers and staff. All outdoor play is fully supervised by our dedicated staff to ensure safety and well-being. Activities are carefully planned in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, supporting each child’s learning and development in an enjoyable, engaging way.
